Tio Ricardo's visit

We were all so happy to see Tio Ricardo this weekend. Mateo really loves him already :-) Here are some pictures that we took of the family while he was here.

Mategol

We enrolled Mateo in Soccer Tots. It is an indoor field and he loves playing on the same field as his Dad and Tio do on Thursday nights :-) He has two coaches and they are working on passing, stopping, and turning with the ball...all with games of course like red light-green light. Mateo had fun at his first class, and was certainly worn out...returning home for a full two hour nap.

Caballito

I had to post this picture that is so cute of Mateo playing "pony boy" with his Abuelita. I love his quick costume that really put him in the cowboy mood!

Micaela

It may seem from these pictures that Micaela sleeps all the time...that is far from the truth as many of you who have had newborns recall! She is sleeping pretty well at night (besides waking up about every 3 hours for food). At least she usually doesn't stay up, she eats and goes back to sleep. She is, however, awake A LOT during the day. I guess she is trying to keep up with her big brother.

Time for Bath!

Mateo and Micaela are already enjoying bath time together. Micaela LOVES the bath, unlike her brother at that age, he screamed from start to finish (although now at 2, he would play in the bath tub all day if I would let him). Micaela just relaxes in the warm water. She doesn't even mind when you pour water over her head...we have a water baby on our hands!
