Duke Gardens

These are some pictures we took today at Duke Gardens. It is on the Duke University campus, about 15-20 minutes from our apartment. They were celebrating 75 years. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful place.

Splish-Splash

Mateo got more and more daring in the water at Jordan Lake. This video is before we changed into our swimming attire, and Mateo gets in a little deeper than his shorts will allow. In the end, I have to "cut" the video and make a run for him :-)

Jordan Lake

We went to Jordan Lake for some fun in the water and wilderness with Mateo's Daycare. It was organized with games and lots of great food. As you can see Mateo enjoys playing with Lily by the waterside (later on we got in with bathing suits and everything). Oh, and Micaela is sporting her name tag from our lunch meet-and-greet where she was the life of the party!

A Visit to the Office

Refreshing

There is nothing like a cold water on a hot day after riding tricycles! Mateo and his friend (our neighbor, Morgan) are enjoying some refreshing H20 on the front porch.
