The Talentos Reunion

Doesn't Micaela's face here say it all, "help me!". Our house as the location for a day care reunion/play date today and she was seriously outnumbered by 3 and 4 year olds! Mateo and all the kids had a blast. Mateo had 4 friends over (2 who left the day care at the beginning of the summer).

As you can see, they all picked up right where they left off and didn't miss a beat :-)

By the end, Micaela discovered that the best place for her to hang out was with the parents!

Mateo's new pool skill

Mateo has found something else he likes to do at the pool. He jumps off the diving board!

Home-made Icecream

Mateo and Micaela played "Shut the Box" a colonial game that we brought back with us from Williamsburg after dinner. (OK...so they don't really know the rules, but rolling the dice is awfully fun!!)

Abuelita and Abuelito made the trip to town just for the weekend and brought a treat for the kids...delicious home-made ice cream that everyone LOVED (I think Miguel and I ate at least a TON).

Busch Gardens - VA

We took a weekend trip with our good friends Nick, Julie, and Lily this past weekend. We headed to Williamsburg, VA where we enjoyed going to Water Country USA and Busch Gardens. Micaela fell in love with Elmo and Grover and Mateo LOVED all the rides!
