Father's Day

We had such a great Father's Day. We celebrated with Lito and Lita at their house. They did a wonderful BBQ...yum! Then we finished up the huge kite that Lito built for Mateo (he also built one years ago for his kids, which is one of Miguel's fondest memories). Mateo was so excited he didn't know what to do with himself. Although there wasn't a bit of breeze, we all worked together to get the kite in the air, if only for a few seconds while running down the street. We can't wait until the next windy day :-)

UNC Chapel Hill

Lito and Lita came to see our new apartment this weekend. Mateo loved being a tour guide both at home and at UNC. We had a nice picnic on the grass. The kids shared some water from "the well" and enjoyed getting their feet wet at a nearby fountain.

Swing, Swing, Swing

Micaela had her first experience on a swing today. She loved it! Mateo was tickled that his baby sister was on the swings with him.

Bath Time Giggles

Mateo had his little sister giggling all through bath time today. She thought his splashes were hilarious. We just love her little laugh and we work to be able to hear it as much as possible :-)

No Doubt

Miguel and I went to a No Doubt concert with Rebecca and Demien (thanks to Rebecca for the free tickets she won from a radio station). It was a great night out (without kids) and No Doubt was rock steady!!!
