Christmas at Six Flags: Marine World

Every time Mateo sees a shark he quotes Finding Nemo, "Hola....soy Bruce!"

They liked the planes so much that they went on it twice in a row.

On the 23rd. Mateo and Mommy went to Six Flags Marine world with Jamie, her mom, Madeline, and Parker. Mateo adores Madeline and he tells me that she is his new BFF ;-) You can see from the pictures that they had a blast and stayed out WAY past their bed time. We left the park around 10:30 p.m. and pulled in the driveway around midnight!

Old Town Sacrameto

I took the kids out to Old Town Sacramento. Mateo loved the visit to the CA RailRoad Museum. Thomas the Train was there and Mateo thought that every engine looked like one from the Thomas series. I especially liked my walk down memory lane as we went into the "moving" train car and took a walk down the river to look at the Delta King. We finished our outing with buying some delicious salt water taffy...yum!

Some Cousin Lovin'

These two cousins are too cute. Although 3 months apart, they are currently about the same size, but it seems that they both are aware that Micaela is older and she took advantage of that situation since she mostly experiences being the little sibling. These are a few candids of Micaela and Tiago.

Christmas Cuties

We had a great Christmas at Tia Korah's house. The La Serna siblings were all together as were all the cousins. Tio Pepe and Tia Veronica made the trip with Enzo and Fabio too. It was a great holiday!

I need glasses too!

Mateo wanted a pair of glasses just like his Papa's, so Nannie and PawPaw found him a pair. He thinks they are hilarious and so do we. He is currently sleeping with them folded neatly on his bedside table :-)

Fun at Tia Laura's

The kids loved their visit to Tia Laura's house. Micaela loved it there and Mateo loved his big cousin Calen. Can't wait to see them again while we are here is CA!

Micaela's Post Nap Happiness

Miguel and I were able to attend the UNC vs. Michigan State game. It was really fun to see some college basketball, but really made us miss Arco! I think we may be converting into Tar Heels!
