It's a Birthday Party!

Mateo had his birthday party at Monkey Joe's, where kids jump, jump, jump. It was a little sad for us since Mateo now goes on everything on his own. He had so much fun with his friends, he barely noticed us!

Mateo and Lainey were inseparable!

The party room, check out the inflatable thrown!

Everyone had to take turns trying out the birthday chair...
Even Micaela!

We had a blast with friends and family (Rebecca represented the family!). Can't wait for birthday season to start again next year.

First Born

It is hard to believe that Mateo was born 4 years ago...where is the time going?!?!?! Anyway, we are excited for a fun day! In honor of his 4th, here is his new favorite birthday song from Madagascar:

Happy Birthday to you
You Live in a Zoo
You look like a Monkey
And you smell like one too

Feliz Cumpleanos a Ti
En un zoologico feliz
y pareces a un mono
porque te hueles asi

The Cousins at UNC

Micaela had a death grip on these sticks.

Mateo's loves his new bike that Lito and Lita bought him for his fourth birthday

We enjoyed a sunny, pollen-filled picnic by the well while Korah and little Tiago were in town. It was a fun day filled with runny noses and sneezes for everyone. I think it was worth it to enjoy the day!

Say Cheese!

Funniest picture ever...our little nephew was in town and it is near impossible to get a picture with these three together, as the Sears photographer quickly realized!

All the grand-babies!

Our House...hopefully

Korah took a few pictures of the house we are under contract to buy. Hopefully, if all goes well, this will be our new home as of June 14th (note the sold sign).

Hoppy Easter!

Happy Easter Everybody! We celebrated with our good friends: Julie, Nick, and Lily. Great food and fun on this warm spring day! These pictures are from the egg hunt. Micaela got several minutes for a "baby head start." You can see from the picture below, Mateo and Lily are just thrilled about that (they were good sports though)!

"Well, well, well...look what I found"

And the big kids are off.....

First paleta!

The Aftermath...

That face just says, "delicious," The hunt was well worth it!

A run below the overpass

After the Durham Bulls opener, Mateo and Papa made a run back to the car...the fun way ;-)

Grand Theft Vaso

Micaela loves to drink anything from her brother's cups. Here we are at the park with the theft caught on camera and in action! She looks almost drunk off her crime ;-)
